Looks like after a few days of very slow salmon fishing, the bite came on and both sport and commercial boats were finding salmon. At least enough to have hope, although a lot of shorts were also caught.
As fishing picked up for the salmon bite, the rock fish bite seemed almost to stop. Maybe it was the slack and slow moving tidal changes as the week progressed. Maybe it was that the fish caught were stuffed with krill and not too hungry. Who knows but the fish?
Lets hope next week will have more of both, but it looks like the wind will be a factor after mid-week. Good luck!
