The winds have settled a bit, at least on the inside so there is still a lumpy short period swell to make things interesting.
The Salmon fishing has tappered off, and were are all hoping that there will be another pulse of larger fish in a couple weeks, but don’t hold your breath.
At least the California Halibut are biting as good as its been in years. This week almost everyone is catching them, some even from the shoreline at the boat ramp. Numerous larger 10 to 20 pounders =have been landed.
Most have been caught in and around the boat moorings and along the shallows aeround Deadmans and by No-pass. Most anglers are using bait, but swimbait and spoons have also performed ok.
