Catch Report: Salmon Season has been a rough start! The wind has been horrible this year! The salmon are small, be sure to measure your fish. A few bigger fish (21 lb.) have been caught. Some fish all day without catching a salmon, others, luck out with one on the boat. Going North you can catch Pacific Halibut, some large ones have been being caught. (40+ pounds). In the harbor there are California Halibut.
Please be sure to check Rules and Regulations through California Department of Fish and Wildlife. It’s always good to know the length and how many you can keep of each species.
